Juillet 98, collection "Art et Essai"
Cuvée Granaxa 2001 (19/20).

Very dark ruby colour with black-bluish sheen, shiny, velvety, opaque, dense and very concentrated.

Purple disk without any mark of evolution. Nose very complex, great and generous, exhaling successively black and red rips fruits aromas or in coulis (blackcurrant, cherry, bilberry), subtle and blend notes of breed (pepper, clove, cedar, blond tobacco, coffee, cocoa) than flattering touches of liquorice and violets after ventilation.

On a same register, unveiling a rich material, smooth, sweet and full-flavoured, then a very ripe material, acidity blend and very fine silky tannins.

A final voluminous, magnifiquely long, deep and raced, marked by flavours of fruits, spices and liquorice.

On of the best wine tasted this year by our wine waiter, guarantee vintage taken all together. This bottle out of norm, testify to the great potential of this region.

Maturity: 2006. Best before: 2010. Open 2h before. Serve in carafe at 16°c.

Gourmet'ssuggestion: duck roasted cherry fillet.
